Civil Litigation
Civil litigation involves the representation of a party in a lawsuit. I represent both plaintiffs and defendants in civil lawsuits. The subject matter of the civil lawsuits I handle is varied and involves many factual situations, sometimes unique. Many times a party has never been in a lawsuit and this is their first experience with a legal proceeding.
The following are civil litigation matters I handle on behalf of clients:

- dispute over the validity of a trust or will
- dispute between beneficiaries of a trust or will

- dispute over interpretation of a contract or lease
- eviction of a tenant from an office, building or residence
- suitability of an investment
- defense of a dog owner whose animal bites a person
- dispute between partners to a business
